1. How long does it take?

Drilling and installing of the casing can take up to 4-8 hours depending on the geological formation drilled and the depth. The clean-up will take around 4 hours depending on the depth drilled. We can drill to a 120m deep in a day.

It's a four step process:

2. Do I need a driller to come over and look at the site and provide a quote?

If you would like to proceed with the drilling we will undertake a FREE site meeting with you and we will verify the accessibility of the proposed drilling spot you want us to drill the borehole.

3. On Arrival

Our drilling team supervisor may ask you to move any vehicles that may disrupt the actual drilling. Your vehicles may have to be moved outside of you property for a few hours until the drill rig has departed and the drilling site has been cleaned up..

4. Is drilling very noisy?

Yes, it is a noisy operation. But keep in mind it only lasts a few hours. We recommend you give your direct neighbour a heads-up before the actual drilling commences.

5. Will there be a lot of soil/clay/sand to dispose of?

Usually, there are 1 – 3 cube loads of soil and rock debris that need to be disposed of by our clean-up crew. Our clean-up crew will start the clean up as soon as the drill Rig leaves your property. If you have any holes in your yard or low points, now is a great time to fill them up.

6. Do I need to be home while drilling takes place?

No, our site supervisor will be on site from arrival to the end, but please indicate the location of the drilling site with a photo or stake.
